HOPE – Holistic Personal public Eco-mobility

Client: European Commission (ICT PSP grant 621133)

Problem: To integrate features of the MODUM project into a pilot scheme at Coventry, UK.

Solution: The Coventry City demonstrator in the HOPE project required InfoHub to analyse the existing ticketing processes for public transport including suppliers, the process itself, the human factor impact and the scheduling of operations. On this basis InfoHub undertook design and programmingof the multi-modal ticketing models. The company also run field tests and analysed the results from the experiments which underpinned the subsequent deployment.

Result: The eco-mobility model for Coventry was successfully evaluated by the European Commission alongside emodels for Athens (Greece) and the Basque Country (Spain).
